PRiSTAT: Sailias, The Fairy King

Character design for a personal project.

The king finally joins the scene: behold Sailias, first, and only, ruler of Pristat. Thought to be one of the first fairies, the two faced King rules above all with apparent kindness, although those who've been alive for long enough have learned to fear him.

Since the tree-like appearance was very important in Sailias design, I incorporated ZBrush into my process. Sculpting the whole body was very gratifying and helped a lot with the development of the piece.
